Resources for PMs

Introduction

Below are a three sets of helpful templates for product managers who wish to make their documentation useful for multiple teams, provide transparency to stakeholders, and reduce the amount of double-work in their product development workflow. See my introductory post "A guide to centralized product documentation" for more.

Product Dashboard Template

👉
Want to start from scratch? This template has everything, just make sure to duplicate it!

Single Page Templates

⚠️
These templates are meant for people who may not want to invest fully in the Notion ecosystem (even though I highly recommend you do 🙂). Remember you can use these as templates inside Notion.

Product Requirement Document (PRD)

The source of truth for many teams. It's purpose is to be a living document that can be easily understood by all teams at the company, while providing a blueprint for product development.

Product Roadmap Memo (Quarterly)

This memo is meant to be circulated as a proposal to the executive team each quarter, and once approved, shared with the company for strategic alignment.

Database Templates

⚠️
These are standalone database templates that aren't connected to each other. I recommend using the product dashboard template if you'd like to fully invest in Notion. Read more about each here.
